Poor quality recordings need more time to help create a better quality transcript, hence the higher rates. Some passages may remain indecipherable despite our best efforts. These moments will be timestamped to aid review.

Standard "intelligent" Verbatim: concise, more like a written English. Most common. Strict Verbatim: captures more spoken language - includes minimal responses, ums, ers, repetition etc. Mostly used only in certain types of research.

Time codes are inserted each time the speaker changes (interviews), or every 30 seconds (monologues or groups)
